So here we have a whole new spate of new images from The Hobbit app that Warner Bros released. Now I wish they would do this for android phones as well – I am not even going to ask for something for my Blackberry because I know that is not going to happen. But who knows? We are after all, talking about a realm where dragons fly. 🙂 But apart from my meagre cribbing, let me get down directly to sharing the goodies that I gathered.

Ori (Raver)
Dwarf of Thorin & Company. Ori was of the line of Durin and was a remote kinsman of Thorin Oakenshield. He accompanied Thorin on the quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain from Smaug the Dragon in 2941 of the Third Age. Ori’s hood was grey and he played the flute. He wrote well and quickly in a large, bold hand and often used Elvish script.
In 2989, Ori accompanied Balin on his quest to establish a colony in Moria. It was he who wrote the last passage in the Book of Mazarbul recording the Dwarves’ final days in 2994. He told of the death of Balin and the slaying of Oin by the Watcher in the Water and of how they became trapped by Orcs. Ori’s last words were:
“We cannot get out. The end comes … drums, drums in the deep … they are coming.”
The Fellowship of the Ring: “The Bridge of Khazad-dum”
Ori perished along with the rest of the Dwarves of Balin’s company.

Adam Brown as Ori
Adam Brown is the youngest of the cast and definitely has the smallest resume of the bunch. Brown did have a role in and episode of the TV series ChuckleVison as well as had a small role in the Hollywood film, Monster.
